Meditation is a learned skill. It doesn’t have to be perfect. To start, simply sit and practice. For beginners, we recommend that you start with a regular practice where you can sit quietly and comfortably for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. Meditation is a training exercise in awareness and being healthy with our perspective. It takes consistent practice to get comfortable, and the benefits of a regular practice will allow you to learn to subside the distracting thoughts and experience a sense of inner peace and relaxation.
