You can find the correct level of classes for your yoga experience by filtering our classes by level. Here is an explanation for class levels:
Level 1 classes introduce basic Yoga postures, breathing fundamentals and instruct how to work with the body in order to access subtleties of the mind. Yoga props and use will be introduced, as well as Sanskrit terms for postures, and breath-work.
Level 1-2 classes continue to build upon fundamentals and practical knowledge. Some new postures, and understandings about the shape and function of the pose, and Yoga ideologies will be introduced to enhance your foundational understanding.
Level 2 classes continue building on your working knowledge and physical fundamentals with challenging sequences and flows that evolve your practice into moving meditation. In this level, classes may introduce advanced posturing and philosophy concepts to expand your internal experience.
Level 2-3 classes assume familiarity with Yoga postures, Sanskrit terminology, and overall theory. These classes are designed to enhance your physical practice and attention to detail by incorporating challenging sequences and variations that encourage you to play with your edge.
Level 3 classes provide detailed verbal instruction to train the ear so you can focus on internal workings rather than viewing posture demonstrations. These classes offer authentic teachings to fine-tune alignment, anatomy, and theory. Physical intensity level may be increased.
