It takes time to get comfortable with your mind. Learning to meditate is like learning any other skill. There is no need to be perfect or force your thoughts. Start slow, 5 minutes a day for 3-4 times per week is ideal for many of us. A dedicated quiet space with a sitting cushion or rolled up blanket with loose clothing to be comfortable will help you keep distraction at a minimum. Keep practicing, you are doing great.
